AI Image Print Preflight & Fix Guide

中 ☕ Support

Pick an image and what you're printing it for, check the risks for posters, business cards, and banners, then fix it with the step-by-step guide.

What this tool can't do It checks for risks and points you toward fixes, but it can't guarantee how the print actually turns out. For a real order, always confirm with your print shop's specs, paper, and a test print.

On your phone A phone is fine for checking the score and the max print size. When you need to upscale, vectorize, clean up specks, or rework text, switch back to a computer. For Upscayl, use the free desktop version first.

After you upload an image, a drag-to-compare view here shows roughly how sharp it will look in print

File handoff tips

This tool doesn't produce .ai files or print-grade PDFs directly. When you're new to printing, don't lead with a pile of pro spec jargon. Just ask the shop to confirm whether your adjusted image can be printed as-is, or to convert it to a printable format for you, and ask if there's an extra handling fee.

What to say to the shop

  • "Could you help me confirm whether this image can be printed?"
  • "If it needs to be converted to a format you can print, please convert it and let me know the cost."
  • "If there's any problem with resolution, bleed, or cropping, just tell me what I need to change."
